Attendance Policy

Attendance in the Lecture portion of the course is necessary in order to succeed in this course and understand the material.  In-class exercises will be the primary method of determining attendance.  It is expected that you will come to class.  In-class exercises have no make-ups, as they serve as both attendance records and concept assessments.  Points accrued during the semester from these in-class exercises will be included in the 10% of the grade accounted for by "drafts, outlines and in-class exercises". 

Attendance in the Lab portion of this course is necessary in order to succeed in this course and understand the material.  In-lab exercises will be the primary method of determining attendance.  The lab exercises are part of the grade in the lab.
