This Fairlane was purchased new in California in 1967. It was then sold to its second owner in California. About 12 years ago it was purchased by its third owner from Ohio and driven here from California. I bought it from this person and have enjoyed it for about 10 years.

The car is and always has been a solid rust-free vehicle. The only exterior cosmetic work has been one paint job due to the fading from the sun and a new vinyl top. The interior has a new dash pad and headliner –otherwise original.

After a I drove it a few years with the 390, a 428CJ was installed. It was machined and balanced by Jenkins Automotive and assembled/installed by Richard Coy –Coy’s Automotive. The 390 still runs good (needs cleaned up though) and could be put back in a weekend to have the car original .

This is as good as you’ll ever find w/o a major restoration. It has done well in local shows yet maintains its drivability. It wasn’t meant to be hauled in a trailer!
