I am currently a freshman in the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology program at Kent State University. I am minoring in Human Development and Family Studies. As a child, I had severe dyspraxia of speech and was in speech therapy myself for years. Because of that experience, I have wanted to become a speech pathologist from a young age. My hope is to be able to work with children who have speech disorders to help them learn to effectively communicate. It is early in my college career, so I am looking forward to working in the MADI Lab and to gaining knowledge about Speech Pathology.
