This set from County Armagh, Ireland is to be danced very gently | |
with absolutely no battering. | |
The music should be slow and the steps (down-2-3, and as shown below) | |
should be very low to the floor. | |
First side couple is right of first top couple. | |
Swing in waltz hold. | |
Bar counts for patterns are shown in bold. | |
The total bar count for each Figure includes an eight-bar introduction of music. | |
Ladies Chain: Ladies take right hands in the center then take the opposite gents left | |
forearm; make two turns arm-in-arm at the gents position; dance back to home | |
without touching hands in the center. | |
Gents dance forward on the left foot and ladies begin forward on the right foot throughout. | |
