This non-progressive, 16-bar two hand is danced in sweetheart hold (across the shoulders).
The dance is often danced in a country-western setting. The dance may be identified as
a line dance for only two.
Couples take positions around the perimeter of the dance floor with gents having their
left side toward the center; the line of dance is anticlockwise. The dance may also
be danced free in the available space while others are dancing another two hand dance.
Dance an ordinary polka step (down-2-3) and in-place steps, stamps and kicks as shown.
Gents dance forward on the left foot and ladies begin forward on the right foot.
Bar counts (quantities of measures) for patterns are shown in bold.
Documentation is adapted from a video workshop taught by Allen Myers. Other versions
are danced. | |
