Facts, Inc. 1974-76; Started King Research, Inc. which is involved in research,
evaluation, planning, and design of library and information systems.
In 1971, King evaluated the CIRCOL to compare the retrieval effectiveness of controlled vocabulary with the natural language of abstracts (Bellardo & Bourne). King has also worked on scientific communication, electronic publishing, copyright, multi-type library networking, economics and value of information, assessments of the information profession, and evaluation of library and information centers. According to Stella Keenan, he is particularly known for his evaluation studies. |
