A graduate with High Honors from Oberlin College, I will receive my MA in French Translation at Kent State University in May of 2006. This program is the only one of its kind in the United States and provides the best training in project management and research and in the medical, scientific, technical, commercial, legal, diplomatic, literary, and localization fields. Upon graduation, I will also have advanced knowledge of the Trados, SDLX, and Translator's Workbench translation tools, such computer programs as Adobe Photoshop 7, the Microsoft Office Suite, Macromedia Dreamweaver and Flash MX, and web development programming languages such as html, xhtml, CSS, and ASP.
