The Porta Laurentina Catacomb is the only burial society that allows inhumation burial. The entrance is on the upper part of the plan. The entrance is at ground level and the tunnels where the burials are located are reached by a steep stairway that leads down into the ground. Numerous tunnels run from the central corridor. The cost of each niche is 250,000 sestertii. |
