The Go! Team are an English, Brighton-based six piece band (with two drummers) whose songs are a mixture of action theme songs, cheerleader chants, guitars and early hip hop, with a hint of '70s funk. Their songs are a mix of live instrumentation and samples from various sources.
The Go! Team have contributed a brand new track to the Amazon/Tribe: Songs For Survival album, released in support of the Survival International charity. The track's called 'Templates From Home' and features vocals from the Babongo Tribe from Gabon in Africa.
Also on iTunes is a new download-only seven track selection ripped from the band's Lollapalooza show in Chicago last month. Both the track and album are available through iTunes now and the CD's in stores 6th October.
