Torbernite from Zaire. Torbernite (Cu(UO2)2(PO4)2-10H2O), Hydated Copper Uranyl Phosphate, gradually looses water and converts to meta-torbernite unless special precautions are taken. Although only a minor ore of uranium its occurrence may indicate that other, more profitable uranium ores are also present in the area.
