Fall '00:

Psychology of Motivation

 Purpose:
The purpose of this course is to explore factors behind the behavior of humans and animals.  Motivation is the study of “why” behavior occurs.  Lectures and discussions will stimulate students to think independently about the subject matter.  This course will not answer all of your questions about why people behave the way they do, but rather is designed to explore some of the many psychological factors which influence behavior.
