Painting
Pear on a Frozen Ocean in Front of Antarctica
I made some paintings between 2002 and 2005. A statement would most likely be a piece of obscurantism. Before this I tried figurative, narrative, genre painting, but I didn't have enough stories or ideas and I didn't understand my own working habits because I was much younger and had spent less time thinking about everything, so I couldn't maintain any kind of work habit. I was feeling sick from the oil paint anyways so I became a process artist. I wasn't content doing paintings for very long and got curious about meaning or something like meaning and stories. These are the best of my early paintings that I have images of.
