This website is being created as part of a semester-long project
for a Geovisualization course I'm taking at Kent State University. The
project covers Population Change across New York State from 1900 to the
present. I'll be posting different types of maps of New York State showcasing the
many geovisualizations we'll be working with through the semester. Check out

This course features hands-on labs working with open-source mapping software, 3D maps,
image editing, and Google Maps, to equip students with a better understanding of the
techniques behind geovisualization and some of the applications of geovisual theories. The
semester project focuses on developing a series of maps to illustrate population change in a
selected state.
