Fleetwood Typeface and Specimen Book

Designed this typeface in GLYPHS while pursuing my Masters of Fine Art, this class tasks the student with using reference material to develop a fullyfunctional open type format that can be distributed and used as a body copy font. My typeface was developed to be a fun and quirky slab serif that is inspired by Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours Album typography taking visual cues from well known other typefaces like Rockwell, Mueso and Minimo. The final font Fleetwood is a quirky, monoline serif that features two weights: A Roman and a bold, the Roman version is seen here. A corresponding specimen book was developed to showcase the typeface and it’s versatility.
